Repositories

Connect and index the codebases your team needs to understand.

Before you index: repository limits

3,000 files maximum per repository
50 MiB total eligible file size
512 KiB maximum per file
20,000 passages maximum after splitting files

Public GitHub repositories only. File-count and total-size limits apply after filtering unsupported formats, common generated/dependency folders, and files larger than 512 KiB. Oversized individual files are skipped.

Exceeding the repository or passage limits stops indexing; CodeLensa does not silently index only the first files. If a repository is too large, link a smaller repository. A subfolder URL cannot be used to narrow indexing.
